How much does a portrait photographer charge?
The cost of a portrait photo session varies. You can expect to pay around 100 dollars for a mini session without prints, up to several thousand dollars with print packages. I recommend that you talk to your photographer directly to find the best package that meets your needs.

What is a standard portrait session like?
Portrait sessions will vary depending on the photographer. I like to reach out to clients to discuss their specific needs and provide tips on how to prepare for your photo session.
I offer studio sessions for a more formal look and outdoor sessions for a relaxed and fun family session. You can select either type of session or a combination of both. Some sessions offer multiple clothing changes to give you several looks to choose from when ordering prints.
How much time should I expect the session to take?
A normal portrait session can take around 45 minutes to complete. I also offer mini sessions which take about 15 minutes. An all-inclusive package can take 3 to 4 hours with multiple locations and clothing changes.
Can I do my portraits in studio and on location?
I offer studio sessions as well as on-location sessions. On-location sessions cost a little extra to include travel time and any other expenses. We can do a combination session which includes portraits in the studio, then change clothes and head to the park for some fun outdoor pictures.
What should I wear for my portrait photos?
Our studio shoots are designed to give a classier look to the portraits usually with a dark background.
When shooting an outdoor session, wear something fun but nice. Outdoor sessions are fun and playful but jeans and T-shirts may be a little underdressed. Shorts, slacks, sundress are perfectly fine.
Make sure your clothes are clean and pressed. When shooting with others, coordinate outfits, don’t match. Bring multiple outfits to change into during your session. Have this discussion with your photographer so they can plan accordingly.
Can I buy prints from you?
Yes. Most of our packages come with digital images and/or prints. It is normally less expensive to order a package that includes prints than to purchase prints later. All of our prints are processed at a high-end professional lab to assure your images are of the best quality.
How long will it take to get my photos?
Depending on your package it can take several days up to several weeks to receive your images and prints. All of our images go through post-processing. Things take a little longer during the busy seasons but we try to process everything as quickly as possible without cutting corners on quality.
